K9'S ON THE FRONTLINE
This year, the money raised from our fundraising efforts goes to an amazing cause: K9 On The Frontline. This incredible organization provides service dogs for law enforcement officers and veterans. They strive to make a difference in the lives of those who risk their lives on the frontline everyday. By providing these service dogs, they help to improve the physical and mental health of law enforcement and veterans, as well as to improve the morale of the entire community. K9 On The Frontline stands as a testament to the bravery and courage of all those who serve our country.
WILLIAM "JOE" CHABINO
Here is a bit about “Joe” William Chabino. One of the founders of Operation Freedom Exchange. Joe served in the military in 1989, acting as ABH aircraft director on the USS Independence and participating in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Later, he was attached to the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier as part of the VS 33 world-famous screw birds for his last 9 months of service. A 100% disabled veteran, he suffered permanent nerve damage in his neck, back, and legs after being pinned inbetween a C2 aircraft. He has since dedicated himself to helping other veterans in need through his organization, which provides support and services not available through the VA or other means. He and his wife Deborah have been together for 11 years and married for 9 years as of this Memorial Day.
SUSAN PARNELL
This is Susan Dawson-Parnell, our other fouder of Operation Freedom Exchange . She is also one of the owners of Custom auto in Sedalia Missouri. Custom auto is a family business that she, her father Robert and mother, Cynthia Dawson started in 1985. Susan has customized vehicles most of her life; working with her father since she was around 10 years old and has been extremely passionate about customizing vehicles since then. Her slogan: “You dream it and we will do it”. Susan married Joseph Parnell in 2002. Together they have 2 awesome children. Joseph is a professional firefighter and serves on the Board of Operation Freedom Exchange. Susan also said that “Close friends that have served have shown me how much our service men and women give not just during their service but after. They deal with it everyday all day. That is one reason I am passionate about this. This is for you Dusty I.g.y.6”. Thank you Susan for all you do for OFE! 🙏🏼
